Fancy Burger isn’t your regular burger joint. They make special and fancy burgers that are like works of art. Their goal is to make your burger super awesome!
Last May 2023, my family and I decided to check out Fancy Burger on their grand opening day. It was a bit busy, but we arrived early and snagged a table before the big crowd!
The place is lively, with a mix of fun and fancy vibes. I loved the cool decor, live music, and the open kitchen.
Personal Tip: Make a reservation! Fancy Burger is getting super popular.
Fancy Burger pays a lot of attention to making everything just right. They carefully choose each detail, from the buns they use (which they make themselves and call ‘cloud buns’) to the kind of meat they use (it’s a mix of steak and local bacon for extra flavor).
This makes their burgers stand out and leave a lasting impression.
What makes Fancy Burger unique is they’re always trying new things. Every month, their chefs come up with a brand-new fancy burger.
During our visit, they had this amazing burger with fennel-crusted roasted pork belly, quail eggs, prickly pear hollandaise, pickled-shallots, all in a custom sauve on a Hokkaido milk bun. It was flavorful! But this special burger was a bit pricey; this one cost us $37.
Menu Highlights:
The Fancy Burger (Changes Monthly) — This is their burger that changes every month. So, each time you go, you can try something new and unique.
Burgers:
Plain Luxury — $5.50/+ — This is a simple yet fancy burger. You can get it with one, two, or three patties.
Classic — $8.50/+ — This one has local tomatoes, local lettuce, and a special mayo. You can also choose it with one, two, or three patties.
Sides:
They also have rosemary fries, fried asparagus, and thick-cut fries on the menu.
Salads:
If you’re into salads, they have one with roasted beets, oranges, tangerines, pistachios, and more.
Desserts:
Save room for dessert! They offer special treats like a dark chocolate tart, a poached peach, a chocolate malt cake, and a fancy cazookie (which is like a cookie and ice cream combo).
Haagen-Dazs Shakes — $8.00
If you’re a fan of shakes, they have some, with flavors like raspberry, peanut butter pie, strawberry, Oreo, malt, and peanut butter.

Tommy’s Burgers in Provo, Utah opened in 1987 and quickly became a favorite spot in the city. Larsen Bennet and Howard Tanner started it, and it got its name from Larsen’s radio name, ‘Tom Walker,’ which gives it a cool, nostalgic vibe.
Right from the start, Tommy’s Burgers was known for making tasty burgers. Their very first customer, Richard Teasdale, still loves their food today, showing how good their burgers are.
Over time, Tommy’s changed a bit. Ed Hunt joined as a partner, and Elmer and Georgina Barrientos became a big part of the team. They helped make the place even better, focusing on making amazing food.
One of the best things about Tommy’s Burgers is their homemade chili, made from scratch with carrots and beef. It’s won awards and adds a unique taste to their menu items.
Their menu has great options for burger lovers. They make everything with a lot of care, from the Classic Chili Burger to the Pastrami Burger. They also serve yummy Chili Cheese Fries and a Chicago-style hot dog!
What makes Tommy’s special isn’t just their recipes; it’s also how they get their ingredients. For more than 30 years, they’ve worked with local suppliers, making sure their beef is from a trusted butcher and their bread is fresh from a local bakery.
